提供安全的远程访问应用，Aventail EX-1500 SSL VPN硬件式服务器。不同于传统的VPN 解决方案，远程使用者不需要复杂的设定，藉由SSL加密方式，以Web接口直接执行或存取公司的服务器，如Web，Client/Server legacy application及档案分享。公司不需要更改太多防火墙政策即可提供有效且安全的远程服务。
EX-1500可提供给企业的 Microsoft Outlook、Lotus Notes、SAP、Peoplesoft、Oracle 及 Citrix...等多种应用服务器配合，提供完整的服务器应用。远程使用者可以Windows，Linux，Macintoch 或 Pocket PC 以 Browser 接口使用，多样的选择，不受操作系统的限制。EX-1500可对远程使用者做身分认证，以确定使用者之权限Ex-1500可提供1000人同时上线使用，并具有负载平衡及备份的机制，不须要额外购买设备，对远程使用者，Ex-1500提供三种不同应用，方便选择：
l Web Browser：执行内部Web应用及档案服务器。
* Aventail OnDemand：以Java方式执行内部Client/Server应用。
* Aventail Connect：以Web-delivered Windows Agent，提供给较复杂或增加安全保护之应用。
